Neato D7 Review – The Basics
This robotic vacuum is produced by the Neato company, a California-based company that is dedicated to producing robots that do all your daily chores. The D7 is a smart robot. It can be connected to Wifi and it has an app so you can control it from your phone. It’s called the D7 because unlike the Roomba, the bot is D-shaped. This bot is one of Roomba’s primary competitors. If you’re dissatisfied with your Roomba, but you still want a robovac, this may be the product for you. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Neato D7 Review – Price
These devices are not cheap! On the Neato website, these go for $800 a piece. There are cheaper ways to get them. Amazon is one of those ways. They sell the Neato D7 for $590, so right away you’ve saved over $200 just by avoiding the manufacturer website. These are more expensive than Roomba, but they also have more advanced features. If you’re looking to pick one of these up, we recommend shopping around on third party sites to find the cheapest price. Don’t order from the official website unless you’re just dripping money.
Neato D7 Review – Summary
The reviews of the D7 are largely positive, better in fact than those of the Roomba. Many users report their Roomba clogging or experiencing jams, but the reviews of the D7 report that it rarely clogs and when it does, it’s easily cleaned. When they both work, users seem equally happy with both the Roomba and the Neato D7, but it does seem the D7 is easier to use and does its job a little better. Does the price justify the better quality? Maybe? We’ll leave that decision up to you.
